Lili tries to ignore her mask, she really, really does. Yet it follows her. It follows her as the bloody prints on it form more and more of a hand each day. Every time that she lets herself forget about it for a blissful moment, whether it's for class or another thing, she gets surprised when she opens up her bag and finds it waiting for her again--
Which is what's happening now as she squeals and withdraws her hand too quickly in the middle of the street, the mask following out of her bag and
rolling right in front of Merlin, clattering to an upward-facing stop, the bloody handprint pretty clear to see.

His pockets aren't big enough either, but he can strap the mask to the back of his belt well enough and in a way that his jacket covers most of the monstrosity too when he's out and about. When the mask drops by his feet though he pauses, head tilting to the side as he tries to work something out.
