I did fine. I was pretty weak from the lack of food, but I made up for it after we all made it out. It was just a matter of avoiding fighting any monsters unless absolutely necessary.
[ STOP CRYING... thankfully he only had a bit of crying and that was on day one. He had time to toughen up after that. He reaches for the tea once it's ready. ]

Yes! They're sweet and creamy and rather rich which is why they're in small bottles. Although, honestly, I could finish off all of these if I wanted.
[ In times of dire need he's definitely pushing himself to reveal more, even if he should be trying to keep safe. Things are different here though, it's just that he can't really show her yet. He's been too tired after that ordeal. ]
[Congrats Merlin, it's got mango flavored cream on top. As she helps herself to the strawberry, she tilts her head at his remark. It's strange to her because "nice" is her default mode.]
Um... Well, it wouldn't be fair right. And it'd be a bit childish if I kept one specifically for myself.
Not really... if you love one more than the others. [ He shrugs. ] It's still kinder than trying to keep them all to yourself. I wouldn't have minded... this is already more than I could have asked for.
[ He finally tastes the pudding though and oh my god. His eyes widen before he closes them, making a noise in the back of his throat. It's only when he finishes that mouthful that he adds: ] Oh this is really good.
Only someone crazy wouldn't like this. [ Only he should finish eating before trying to speak so that comes out muffled. Hopefully Ai still understands what he's saying though. ] You really didn't have to but... I'm glad you did.
[ Probably for the best ... he isn't stopping until this pudding is completely gone. ]
Has anyone ever told you how nice you are? I can't imagine sharing this with anyone. [ He glances up at her final question to wipe his mouth with the back of his hand. A shake of his head, then: ] If we want something sweet we have berries.
