[ as a note, she isn't going to feed him the soup. he's old enough to do it himself. :T ]

All done.

[ she even gets up now. ]

I'll go wash the plate.

[ Fine, fine!! Take out all the fun of it why don't you!!

It's fine though, because while she does that he can finish off the soup. ]

Everything is by the sink, and you can just leave it to dry. You're already doing enough.

[ Especially when this was self induced... imagine if he ever actually got sick... amazing. ]

Alright. I'll be back, then.

[ not like she's going anywhere far, but yes!! to the kitchen she goes to wash the plate, and she comes back maybe five minutes later after exploring the rest of the apartment... ]

So, do you help in cleaning up the place? It's so tidy.

[ He's just about done with the soup when she comes back, and when she says that he looks at her as if to say "Don't you remember what I told you before" ]

I have to, at least so Shigeru doesn't rub his hands raw with cleaning products.

[ she does remember, but it's still weird to her because his room seems so... different from the apartment itself. ]

It's insane how clean the outside of your room is.

[ He... actually chokes on the last mouthful of his soup at that, giving her a look. ] It's clean I just... wasn't exactly expecting a visitor, was I?

I wasn't feeling at my best this morning when I changed.

[ That's why his clothes are on the floor. The book... well, because that's what smacked him. ]

You don't have to get so defensive about it.

[ but she takes a seat next to him again and opens the box of macarons. endorphins make people happy, okay! this will definitely cheer her up, if anything. ]

Can I take one now?

[ He pushes the bowl onto the tray then, taking a sip of juice and this time he shifts so she can sit back down.

Though, just to see if it'll fluster her, he says: ] Only if I can feed it to you.

her response is a quick and resounding-- ] No!

[ Ow?!

His hand shoots right up to his ear, covering it as he winces. ]

You didn't need to yell.

I didn't yell!

[ yes you did, athena... but whatever. she's grabbing a vanilla macaron and taking a small bite out of it. ]

[ Okay, nope. Nope Nope. He's just going to cover both ears and flop over onto his front, burying his face into the bed instead.

Stop yelling!!! ]

[ maybe that's what you get for worrying her, you loser. :T

but she has compassion, at least. her voice is softer now as she speaks. ]

Sorry. I forgot.

[ Look!! He didn't know! Or well, remember...

Though his ears are still covered so he doesn't exactly hear that either. At least after a minute or two he glances back to see if she's still yelling, slowly lowering his hands when it's apparent she isn't now. ]

[ nope, she's just staring at him now while biting on her macaron 'u' ]

[ ... His head just flops onto his arm then, eyes sliding partly shut. ]

Does it taste good?

[psycholawgy]

Of course, it does.

[ she puts her half-bitten one by his mouth. take a bite? ]

[ He glances up at her then, twisting more onto his side as his hand moves to form a cup under her hand and the macaron so it doesn't get on the bed. He bites at the corner, only taking a small amount, but given that it's the corner she'll also feel his mouth drag over her hand a little by accident.

Slowly, he leans back to chew, softly adding after: ] That does taste good.

Just eat all of it, [ she says, placing the macaron on his palm. he can really have all of it. there's a lot more where that came from.

and then she flops on the bed. ]

[ Well, as long as she brought the box with her. He'll actually eat it slowly though, watching her quietly for a moment as he lets the taste sink in. ]

What other types are there?

[psycholawgy]

[ she lets out a hum as she rolls closer to him then blinks curiously. ]

Berries. All flavours of berries, and chocolate... [ what else ] Mint?

[ Well purple is probably blueberry or blackberry, but the two pink-red ones look almost equal. It's for that reason he grabs the box, pulling out the darker one and holding it out to her mouth. ] Strawberry? Or raspberry?

[ He smiles softly at her, and while before he might have mentioned this to tease her, now he just wants them to experience this moment together. ]

[ she blinks because that's way too close to be able to say, but she gets it. he wants her to taste it, so she takes a small bite.

it's a bit difficult to tell at first what with the ganache being too fruity, but she manages to figure it out seconds later. ]

It's raspberry.

[ He waits quietly with his hand still rather close, just letting it rest there while she decides on the flavour. Once she's swallowed it though, he shifts slowly until he can drag the macaron across her lower lip, then slowly leans forward to taste it that way.

This is all Widget's fault. ]

Like your perfume. [ Is all he murmurs for a moment, because of course he remembers how his leather jacket was once she was done with it. The smell of raspberries was overwhelming, yet also incredibly comforting.

That done though, he twists to take a bite from what's left for himself, leaving another third untouched. ]

[ THIS LITTLE SHIT THINKS HE CAN DO WHAT HE WANTS...

well, he can. because she's totally stunned now by what he just did. he's just full of surprises, isn't he? and she forgot about the thing with the jacket and the perfume, but now she remembers and how she did it all on purpose. just as planned. ]

Berries smell nice, don't they?
